Jamie, 38, has represented the Morgan Jones ward, which is located in the heart of Caerphilly town centre, since 2012.As well as his role as Deputy Leader of Council, Jamie is also Cabinet Member with responsibility for prosperity, regeneration and climate change. This involves taking a lead role in a range of strategic regeneration projects which are helping to transform the fortunes of communities across the Caerphilly county borough.Among his key passions is protecting and promoting local town centres – creating sustainable and vibrant spaces and supporting business growth in the County Borough and listening to the business community.His life outside of work is dedicated to spending quality time with his ten year old daughter, keeping fit and enjoying a wide range of sporting activity.
