Since our last update in November 2025, works within Zones 1, 2 and 3 have continued to progress. Preparation and detailed planning for the demolition of the turbine hall is well underway.

Aberthaw Academy is a new interactive bilingual platform created for Key Stage 2 and early Key Stage 3 pupils. Developed by CCR Energy in partnership with Academii, the platform brings the fascinating world of renewable energy and sustainability to life – both in the classroom and at home.
